If 2a is a+a,i.e. 2×a , then making equation adding 'x' with a in both situations
---> 2a = a+x
---> a+a = a+a
where x is any positive integer
Then which is correct :
(i). x+a=2×a or (ii). x+a=a+a
JUSTIFY your answer .
The monthly income of a and b are in the ratio 4 : 3 and their monthly expenditure are the ratios 13 : 9 if each saves rs 1500 per month. Find the monthly income.
