- Tangible means solid and physical. Something you can see or touch.
Think about what that means.
For Mesopotamia we have the proof - Harappan beads, ivory and timber, named on Akkadian tablets.
For Egypt and China there is little solid evidence of direct contact . But not finding proof is not proof that they never met. It only means we have not found the goods, seals or records.
All four grew in river plains . There is strong evidence of Harappan-Mesopotamian trade , but little solid evidence of contact with Egypt or China.
