- West Asia shows some of the earliest developments. People here had already settled down, started growing crops and kept animals. Most other regions were still hunting.
- The parts are crops, animals, pottery, settling down and farmland .
- Each one appears at a different time in each region.
- It is not one race with one finishing order.
- Even within India the two differ. The Ganga Plains grew rice ; the rest of India grew millets . They did not start at the same time.
