The opponents of female education say that women will become unruly  Fie! They call themselves Muslims and yet go against the basic tenet of Islam which gives Women an equal right to education. If men are not led astray once educated, why should women?

In the late 19th century, the print culture had a significant impact on women. 

1. With the increasing availability of books, magazines, and newspapers, women were exposed to a wide range of ideas and experiences , which raised their awareness of women's rights and issues.
2. Liberal husbands and fathers began educating women in their homes.
3. Journals began to be published highlighting the importance of educating women.
4. Some Journals even carried syllabus and suitable reading material which could be used for home-based schooling.
