Question 5 The radius of the base of a right circular cone and the radius of a sphere are each 5 cm in length. If the volume of the cone is equal to the volume of the sphere then the height of the cone is (A) 5 cm (B) 20 cm (C) 10 cm (D) 4 cm Now, Volume of cone = Volume of sphere 𝟏/𝟑 𝝅𝒓^𝟐 𝒉= 𝟒/𝟑 𝝅𝒓^𝟑 1/3 ×3/4 ×𝜋/(𝜋 ) × ℎ = 𝑟^3/𝑟^2 1/4 × ℎ = 𝑟 𝒉 = 𝟒𝒓 Putting r = 5 cm ℎ = 4 × 5 𝒉 = 20 cm So, the correct answer is (B)
