Natural Diamonds :

  • Are naturally found inside the earth's crust.
  • These are large, expensive and rare .

  Synthetic Diamonds : 

  •  These diamonds are prepared in the laboratory.
  •  They a re synthesized by subjecting pure carbon to very high pressure and temperature.
  •  These are smaller than natural diamonds .
  •   However it is hard to distinguish synthetic diamonds from natural diamonds.
