- Units like second, minute, and hour begin with a lowercase letter.
- The exception is at the start of a sentence.
- Symbols (s, min, h) are also written in lowercase.
- Symbols are always written in singular form.
- No full stop is written after the symbol.
- Always leave a space between the number and the unit (e.g., "5 s", not "5s").
- Writing "sec" for second is incorrect.
- Writing "hrs" for hour is incorrect.
