Ex 6.1, 12 Solve the given inequality for real x: ﷐1﷮2﷯ ﷐﷐3𝑥﷮5﷯+4﷯≥﷐1﷮3﷯ (x – 6) ﷐1﷮2﷯ ﷐﷐3𝑥﷮5﷯+4﷯≥﷐1﷮3﷯ (x – 6) 3 ﷐﷐3𝑥﷮5﷯+4﷯ ≥2 (x – 6) 3 × ﷐3𝑥﷮5﷯ + 3 × 4 ≥ 2x – 2 × 6 ﷐9𝑥﷮5﷯ + 12 ≥ 2x – 12 ﷐9𝑥﷮5﷯ – 2x ≥ – 12 – 12 ﷐9𝑥 − 5(2𝑥)﷮5﷯ ≥ –24 ﷐9𝑥 − 10𝑥﷮5﷯ ≥ –24 ﷐− 𝑥﷮ 5﷯ ≥ –24 −𝑥 ≥ –24 × 5 −𝑥 ≥ –120 Since x is negative, we multiply both sides by -1 & change the signs (– 1) × (–x) ≤ (– 1) × (–120) x ≤ 120 Hence, x is a real number which is less than or equal to 120 Hence, x ∈ (–𕔴 120] is the solution
