Circumcenter and Circumcircle When you draw a circle that passes through all three vertices of a triangle, it is called the circumcircle The center of this circle is the circumcentre (Point O) The triangle is said to be inscribed inside the circle The location of the circumcentre changes depending on the triangle's shape Acute angled Triangle If the 3 points make an acute angled triangle (all angles less than 90°), then Circumcentre O is safely tucked inside the triangle. Right angled Triangle If the 3 points make an right angled triangle (one angle is 90°), then Circumcentre O is midpoint of the hypotenuse Obtuse angled Triangle If the 3 points make an obtuse angled triangle (one angle is greater than 90°), then Circumcentre O is outside the triangle
