Number of Circles through 2 points Let’s consider a single point X We draw circles passing through point X We observe that infinite number of circles passes through 1 point Now, let’s check two points Let’s consider two points A & B Now, our rule is Centre of any circle passing through both A and B will ALWAYS lie on the perpendicular bisector of line segment AB Here, we see that circles with center M, N, O, P lie in perpendicular bisector of AB Now, Since there can be infinite points on perpendicular bisector AB, It means there can be infinite centers Thus, there are infinite circles which pass through two points A & B
