Question (a) Find the sums and differences: (a) 3/10+3 4/100These are mixed fractions, converting them into normal fractions 3/10=3/10 ร10/10=๐๐๐/๐๐๐ 3 4/100=3+4/100=(3 ร 100 + 4)/100=๐๐๐/๐๐๐ Now, adding ๐๐๐/๐๐๐ and ๐๐๐/๐๐๐ Since denominator is same, we add numerator ๐๐๐/๐๐๐ +๐๐๐/๐๐๐=(300 + 304)/100 =๐๐๐/๐๐๐ =(600 + 2)/100 =600/100+4/100 =6+4/100 =๐ ๐/๐๐๐
