1.It occurs in Unicellular organisms

1.Occurs in Multicellular organisms

2. Two or more identical daughter cells are formed.

2.The products of fragmentation are generally unequal and dissimilar.

3. Nuclear division occurs.

3. No nuclear division occurs.

4. For example -   Amoeba, Paramecium, Yeast etc.
