(ii) (๐^2 โ 14m โ 32) รท (m + 2)We first factorise ๐^๐โ๐๐๐โ๐๐ By middle term splitting, = ๐^2 + 2m โ 16m โ 32 = (๐^2+2๐) โ (16๐+32) = m (m + 2) โ 16 (m + 2) Taking (m + 2) common, = (m + 2) (m โ 16) Splitting the middle term We need to find two numbers whose Sum = โ14 Product = โ32 So, we write โ14m = 2m โ 16m Dividing (๐^2โ14๐+32)รท(๐+2) = (๐^2 โ14๐ โ32)/((๐ + 2)) = ((๐ + ๐) (๐ โ ๐๐))/((๐ + ๐)) = ((๐ + 2))/((๐ + 2)) ร (m โ 16) = (๐ โ 16)
