Question 25 (A) Evaluate: 2 sin 30° tan 60° − 3 cos2 60° sec2 30°We know that, sin 30° = 1/2 tan 60° =√3 cos 60° = 1/2 sec 30° = 1/cos⁡〖30° 〗 =1/(√3/2)=2/√3 Putting all values 2 sin 30° tan 60° − 3 cos2 60° sec2 30° = 𝟐 ×𝟏/𝟐×√𝟑−𝟑 × (𝟏/𝟐)^𝟐×(𝟐/√𝟑)^𝟐 = √3−3 ×1/4×4/3 = √𝟑−𝟏
