Question 2 If 2024𝒙 + 2025𝒚 = 1 ; 2025𝒙 + 2024𝒚 = −1, then 𝒙 − 𝒚 = (A) 0 (B) – 2 (C) 2 (D) – 1Our equations are 2024x + 2025y = 1 ...(1) 2025x + 2024y = −1 ...(2) Doing (2) – (1) (2025x + 2024y) – (2024x + 2025y) = –1 – 1 2025x + 2024y – 2024x – 2025y = –2 (2025x – 2024x) + (2024y – 2025y) = –2 x – y = –2 So, correct answer is (b)
