How do the leaves of the plants help in excretion?

Answer:

The leaves of plants help in excretion in the following ways:

  1. Oxygen is a waste product of photosynthesis.  It is excreted out with the help of stomata.
  2. Carbon dioxide is a waste product of respiration. It is excreted out with the help of stomata.

  3. If too much waste materials are accumulated inside a leaf, it falls off, thereby removing the waste products from the plants.
