Heterotrophic Mode

  1. The type of nutrition in which the organisms are able to make their own food using simple inorganic substances by the process of photosynthesis.

  2. They are independent and do not rely on any other organism for nutrition.

  3. Autotrophs are also known as producers because they produce food.
