  1. Photosynthesis is the process of synthesis of food by the green plants in the presence of sunlight.
  2. In photosynthesis, carbon dioxide is taken in and oxygen is released .
  3. It takes place only in the presence of light.
  4. The end products of this reaction are sugars like glucose and oxygen.
  5. It is seen only in plants.
