Hence,Reflected sound becomes part of Original sound and we cannot distinguish between actual and original sound like in echo

Reverberation happens when time period between Original and Reflected Sound is less than 0.1 seconds

This is done by sound absorbing materials

Example

Heavy curtains are used on walls

Carpets are put to absorb sound

Seats are made of sound absorbing material

Soundproofing panels are put on walls to absorb sound
