Question 3 If 1/4 kg of flour is used to make 12 rotis, how much flour is used to make 6 rotis? Now, Flour used to make 12 rotis = 1/4 kg Flour used to make 1 rotis = 𝟏/𝟒 ×𝟏/𝟏𝟐 kg We need to find how much flour is used to make 6 rotis Thus, Flour used to make 6 rotis = 6 × Flour used to make 1 roti = 6 × 𝟏/𝟒 ×𝟏/𝟏𝟐 kg = (6 × 1 × 1)/(4 × 12) kg = (1 × 1 × 1)/(4 × 2) kg = 𝟏/𝟖 kg Thus, we would need ⅛ kg of flour to make 6 rotis.
