Question 1 Tenzin drinks 1/2 glass of milk every day. How many glasses of milk does he drink in a week? How many glasses of milk did he drink in the month of January? Number of milk glasses in 1 day = 1/2 glass Glasses in a week A week has 7 days Number of milk glasses in a week = 1/2 × 7 = (1 × 7)/2 = 𝟕/𝟐 glasses Glasses in January January has 31 days So, Number of milk glasses in January = 1/2 × 31 = (1 × 31)/2 = 𝟑𝟏/𝟐 glasses
