Also find its distance from the office.The office is O (0, 0) We need to find OA, OB, OC and find out which is greatest distance For OA - O(0, 0) and A (4, 5) OA = √((4−0)^2+(5−0)^2 ) = √(4^2+5^2 ) = √(16+25) = √𝟒𝟏 For OB - O(0, 0) and B (6, 2) OB = √((6−0)^2+(2−0)^2 ) = √(6^2+2^2 ) = √(36+4) = √𝟒𝟎 For OC - O(0, 0) and C (2, 6) OC = √((2−0)^2+(6−0)^2 ) = √(2^2+6^2 ) = √(4+36) = √𝟒𝟎 Since distance OA is greatest, ∴ Society A is farthest from the office
