Question 8 The co-ordinates of the point which is mirror image of the point (−3, 5) about x-axis are (A) (3, 5) (B) (3, −5) (C) ( −3, −5) (D) ( −3, 5)The mirror image of (–3, 5) along x-axis would Would have same distance from x-axis above and below Since (–3, 5) is 5 units above x-axis Mirror would be 5 units below, so y = –5 x-coordinate would be same, so, y = –3 Thus, mirror image would be (–3, –5) So, correct answer is (c)
