Question 9 Tinku weighed 35.75 kg in January and 34.50 kg in February. Has he gained or lost weight? How much is the change?So, we need to compare 35.75 and 34.50 Comparing numbers before decimal point 35 > 34 Therefore, 35.75 > 34.50 So, Tinku’s weight in January was more than in Februrary Thus, Tinku has lost weight To find change, we need to find difference Subtracting 35.75 and 34.50 35.75 – 34.50 = 3575/100−3450/100 = (3575 − 3450)/100 = 125/100 = 1.25 kg Thus, change in weight is 1.25 kg
