 Role of Business class in 'Civil Disobedience  Movement': 

    1. Reacted against the colonial policies 
    2. Protection against imports of foreign goods .
    3. A rupee-sterling foreign exchange ratio
    4. Indian Industrial and Commercial Congress  
    5. Industrialists attacked colonial control
    6. Refused to buy or sell imported goods.

  • To organise business interests , they formed the Indian Industrial and Commercial Congress in 1920 and the Federation of the Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FICCI) in 1927.
