Answer

(1)

  • (a) which - not used with humans
  • (b) who -  this is correct
  • (c) whose - used when talking about things belonging to someone
  • (d) whom - not relevant

Since the sentence is talking about a single individual and what he wanted , ‘who’ will be used.

So, the correct answer is “(b)-who”

(2)

  • (a) with -  this is correct
  • (b) on - used to describe position of an object
  • (c) for - not relevant
  • (d) to - not relevant

Since the sentence is talking about what the individual wanted from the narrator , ‘with’ will be used.

So, the correct answer is “(a)-with”.

(3)

  • (a) sit - not used with past tense
  • (b) sits - not used with past tense
  • (c) sat -  this is correct
  • (d) sitting - not used with past tense

Since the sentence is in simple past tense , the second form of the verb will be used. So, ‘sat’ will be used

So, the correct answer is “(c)-sat”.

(4)

  • (a) on - not the correct preposition
  • (b) in - not the correct preposition
  • (c) of -  this is correct
  • (d) at - not used when sitting above the platform

Since the sentence is talking about the location at which they sat which was above a platform, ‘of’ will be used.

So, the correct answer is “(c)-of”.

Thus the correct paragraph is

I met a smart young person who wanted a ‘Selfie’ with me. So we sat on top of a  boundary wall.
