Question 6 The sum of the zeroes of the polynomial 2x2 − 8x + 6 is (a) −3 (b) 3 (c) −4 (d) 4 Given polynomial 2x2 – 8x + 6 We know that Sum of zeroes = − (𝐶𝑜𝑒𝑓𝑓𝑖𝑐𝑖𝑒𝑛𝑡 𝑜𝑓 𝑥)/(𝐶𝑜𝑒𝑓𝑓𝑖𝑐𝑖𝑒𝑛𝑡 𝑜𝑓 𝑥2) = − ((−8))/2 = 8/2 = 4 ∴ The correct answer is (d)
