Question 8 The population of a city is rising by about 3% every year. If the current population is 1.5 crore, what is the expected population after 3 years?Given, Population = P = 1.5 crore Rate = R = 3% per year = ๐Ÿ‘/๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ Time = t = 3 years Since 3% is compounded rate, We use the formula A = P (๐Ÿ+๐‘น/๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ)^๐’• Where A = Population after 3 years Putting values in formula A = ๐Ÿ.๐Ÿ“(๐Ÿ+๐Ÿ‘/๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ)^๐Ÿ‘ = 1.5ร— ((100 + 3)/100)^3 = 1.5 ร— (103/100)^3 = 15/10 ร— (103/100)^3 = 15/10 ร—1092727/10,00,000 = 16390905/1,00,00,000 = 1.639 crores
