Question 11 An estimated 90% of the world’s population lives in the Northern Hemisphere. Find the (approximate) number of people living in the Northern Hemisphere based on this year’s worldwide population.As of 2024-2025, the world population is approximately 8.2 Billion. Calculation: 𝟗𝟎% of 8.2 Billion = 90/100 × 8.2 = 9/10 × 82/10 = 738/100 = 7.38 billion Thus, approximately 𝟕.𝟑𝟖 Billion people live in the Northern Hemisphere.
