Question 1 (c) - Page 255 Use unmarked number lines to evaluate these expressions: c. +80 – (–150) = _______ +80 – (–150) = 80 + 150 Since (80) is positive, we mark (80) to the right of zero And since (150) is positive, we mark (150) to the right we reach (230) Thus, +80 – (–150) = 80 + 150 = 230
