Geographical cross sections We measure the height of geographical features like mountains, plateaus, and deserts from ‘sea level’ The height at sea level is 0 m. Heights above sea level are represented using positive numbers Heights below sea level are represented using negative numbers. Note: Cross section means So, can you now figure out why we say Geographical crossection?
