Manas Wildlife Sanctuary is located in the State of Assam in North-East India, a biodiversity hotspot. 'Manas' is excluded from the world organization of bio-holds . Some of them are Nilgiri (First to be included), Gulf of Mannar, Sunderban, Nanda Devi, and more.
