According to the old residents in my region, there have been significant changes in irrigation and production methods during the last 30 years. Some of the changes are:
- Irrigation : Earlier, the farmers depended on rainfall or traditional methods of irrigation like wells, tanks, and canals. These methods were not very reliable or efficient and often led to water scarcity or crop failure. Later, with the development of technology, the farmers started using modern methods of irrigation like tube wells, sprinklers, and drip irrigation . These methods ensured a regular supply of water to the crops and increased the productivity and profitability of farming.
