Describe the life of Workers during the nineteenth century in England.

• The lives of the workers were affected by the abundance of labor in the market.
• Hundreds heavily walked to the cities as news of possible jobs traveled to the countryside.
• One can only get a job if he had existing networks of friendship and kin relations.
• Many job seekers had to wait weeks , spending nights under the bridge or in night shelters. Some stayed in Night refuges that were set up by private individuals.
• Seasonality of work in many industries meant prolonged periods without work . Till the mid-18th century, finding a job was a difficult task for workers.
