Petiole 

• Part of the leaf by which it is attached to the stem or branch is known as Petiole .
• It is also known as leaf stalk.

Lamina

• The broad, green part of the leaf is known as Lamina
• It is also known as leaf blade.

Mid Rib

• Visible line in the middle of the leaf blade is known as the main rib.
• Mid rib is also known as the main vein.

Veins

• Various lines found on the leaf are known as veins
• They spread from the mid rib to other parts of the leaf and their function is to transport various substances throughout the leaf.
