Real Numbers REAL NUMBERS ( ) All numbers that can be found on a number lineIRRATIONAL NUMBERS (I) Numbers that cannot be simple fractions. Decimals that never end or repeat. EXAMPLES:Real numbers are numbers on the number line They include Integers: …, –2, –1, 0, 1, 2,… Rational Number: –3, 5/2 , 1000, 0 Irrational numbers: √2, √3, √5,𝜋, 𝑒 Real Numbers can also be positive, negative or zero. Why are they called "Real" Numbers? Because they are not Imaginary Numbers
