Question 1 - Page 150 What is the area of each triangle in this rectangle?Drawing diagonal in the rectangle We notice that there are two triangles now By Property of Rectangles, Diagonal of a rectangle divides it into two congruent triangles. Thus, Area of both triangles are equal So, we can write Area of each triangle = ๐Ÿ/๐Ÿ ร— Area of Rectangle Putting values Area of each triangle = 1/2 ร— Length ร— Breadth = 1/2 ร— 4 ร— 7 = 2 ร— 7 = 14 cm2
