Question 12 A car takes 2 hours to reach a destination, travelling at a speed of 60 km/h. How long will the car take if it travels at a speed of 80 km/h?Given that, It takes 2 hours to reach destination at speed of 60 km/h We need to find how much time would it take if speed is 80 km/h Let the Time taken be x hours We draw a table Now, as Speed increases Time taken will decreases So, Time and Speed are in Inverse Proportion So, we write numbers as ๐’™_๐Ÿ ๐’š_๐Ÿ = ๐’™_๐Ÿ ๐’š_๐Ÿ 2 ร— 60 = ๐‘ฅ ร— 80 (๐Ÿ ร— ๐Ÿ”๐ŸŽ)/๐Ÿ–๐ŸŽ = ๐’™ (2 ร— 3)/4 = ๐‘ฅ 3/2 = ๐‘ฅ ๐‘ฅ=3/2 ๐’™ = 1.5 So, it takes 1.5 hours to travel
