Question 2 - Figure it out (Page 142) Can you think of different methods to construct a 90° angle at a given point on a line using a rope?We can use the 3-4-5 Method The 3-4-5 Method: Ancient builders also used a special trick with numbers. If you take a rope and mark knots at distances of 𝟑 units, 𝟒 units, and 𝟓 units, and then stretch it into a triangle, The corner between the " 3 " side and the " 4 " side will always be a perfect 90^∘ angle (a right angle). This is actually the Pythagorean theorem in action! We follow these steps Step 1: Lay a rope flat with knots at lengths 4 units and 3 units Step 2: Bend the rope at the knot to form a corner Step 3: Connect the ends with a 5-unit rope (or rod) Result: The 3-4-5 triangle gives a perfect 90° angle
