Question 7 (a) Fill the boxes in at least 2 different ways: (a) × = 2.4We know 6 × 4 = 24 Since we need one decimal point in the answer, our possible ways can be 6 × 0.4 = 2.4 And, 0.6 × 4 = 2.4 Question 7 (b) Fill the boxes in at least 2 different ways: (b) × = 14.5We know 29 × 5 = 145 Since we need one decimal point in the answer, our possible ways can be 2.9 × 5 = 145 And, 29 × 0.5 = 14.5
