How many metres of cloth are needed for 3 shirts?Now, Cloth needed for 1 shirt = 1.65 m We need to find how many metres of cloth are needed for 3 shirts Thus, Cloth needed for 3 shirts = 3 × Cloth needed for 1 shirt = 3 × 1.65 = 3 × 165/100 = 3 × 165 × 𝟏/𝟏𝟎𝟎 = 495 × 1/100 = 4.95 m Thus, Thejus needs 4.95 m of cloth.
