Question 2 Does there exist an equilateral triangle with sides 50, 50, 50? In general, does there exist an equilateral triangle of any sidelength? Justify your answer Let’s use our Triangle Inequality for this Here, Sum of smaller two sides = 50 + 50 = 100 And, Largest side = 50 Now, 100 > 50 This satisfies triangle inequality ∴ Triangle exists
