Triangle Inequality & Construction of CirclesWhen constructing Triangles using Circles, we have 3 cases Sum of two sides = Third Side – Triangle is not possible Sum of two sides > Third Side – Triangle is not possible Sum of two sides < Third Side – Triangle is possible Note that while constructing the circles, we take Length of the base = longest side of triangle Radii of the circles to be the smaller two lengths. Let’s visualize our cases Sum of two sides = Third Side Sum of two sides > Third Side Sum of two sides < Third Side To Conclude, If Sum of smaller sides > Largest side Then triangle is possible
