Question (d) Which of the following lengths can be the sidelengths of a triangle? (d) 5, 5, 8 Here, Sum of smaller two sides = 5 + 5 = 10 And, Largest side = 8 Now, 10 > 8 This satisfies triangle inequality ∴ Triangle exists
