Since time spent on internet is 1 1/4 hours We first convert mixed fraction into normal fraction Time spent on internet = ๐Ÿ ๐Ÿ/๐Ÿ’ hours = 1+1/4 = (1 ร— 4 + 1)/4 = (4 + 1)/4 = ๐Ÿ“/๐Ÿ’ hours Now, Cost of 1 hour internet = โ‚น 8 Cost of 5/4 hours internet = โ‚น 8 ร— ๐Ÿ“/๐Ÿ’ = (8 ร— 5)/4 = 2 ร— 5 = โ‚น 10
