The three major threats to the rich biodiversity of  India are: 

  • Hunting: Greedy hunters who hunt for profit are the principal culprits behind this serious threat to nature.

  • Industrial Waste: Acid deposits, pollution from chemical and industrial waste, and biodiversity are all at risk.

  • Deforestation: Careless clearing of trees to make way for agriculture and human habitation also harms biodiversity.
