A triangle-shaped piece of land formed when a river divides into smaller rivers before flowing into an ocean.

The point at which the tide meets the stream at the mouth of a large river.

They are formed in regions of low tides.

They are formed in regions of high tides and rift valleys. 

Deltas are suitable for agricultural activities

Estuaries are suitable for fishing activities.
