• In the last phase of settlement, the people of Inamgaon seemed to have been facing problems.

  • There was a decline in farming which may have been due to a shortage of rainfall or a decrease in the fertility of soil.

  • People began relying more on hunting and gathering food.

  • There was also a change in the way houses were constructed. Instead of rectangular houses, we find small, circular huts.
