These are the bases which partially dissociate (split into ions) in water and produce relatively lesser numbers of Hydroxide (OH - ) ions.

 

 

The weak bases are:

  1. Ammonia (NH 3 )
  2. Trimethylamine (N(CH 3 ) 3 )
  3. Pyridine (C 5 H 5 N)
  4. Ammonium Hydroxide (NH 4 OH)
  5. Water (H 2 O)
