The properties of magnetic field lines are

  • The Magnetic Field lines are like closed curves. They originate from the north pole and end at the south pole.
  • Closer the field lines, stronger is the magnetic field and vice-versa.
  • The magnetic field lines are crowded near the poles and widely apart at other places.
  • The magnetic field lines do not intersect each other.
